Every year, the library looks forward to planning and preparing for a summer of reading fun.
The benefits to participating in a summer reading program are many including helping kids to make reading a lifelong habit, maintaining and increasing reading skills, and generating interest in the library and books.
For all these reasons and more, Prescott Public Library’s summer reading program for kids and teens begins May 16! The Summer Reading program encourages everyone to read for pleasure over the summer months with prizes, programs and activities to reward you along the way.
The summer reading program is free, fun and keeps kids reading all summer long!
How to participate:
- Sign up at the Youth Desk and receive a paper reading log to track your minutes.
- Sign up and log your minutes online at https://ppl.azsummerreading.org.
- Get the READsquared app, then sign up and log your minutes through the app.
The Summer Reading Program is presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library with support from the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records.
