Acker Night

For the 35th year in a row downtown Prescott once again erupted in music at Christmastime to raise money for music scholarships. Acker Night took place Dec. 8 as hundreds of musicians gathered to perform at 120 sites throughout the City’s historic hub, with new additions like the Art Hive adding to longtime locations like Matt’s Saloon, Realty Executives, Fancy That!, the Prescott Chamber of Commerce and multitudes more. Tips given to the musicians and special scarf sales from Fancy That! will create opportunities for 50 local youths to take private lessons and benefit hundreds of others through donations to the music programs of local school districts. More than $45,000 was raised.
