Every year, the library staff looks forward to planning and preparing for a summer of reading fun.
The benefits of participating in a summer reading program are many, including helping kids to make reading a lifelong habit, maintaining and increasing reading skills, and generating interest in the library and books.
For all these reasons and more, Prescott Public Library’s summer reading for youth of all ages kicks off May 23. The summer program encourages everyone to read for pleasure over the summer months with prizes, programs and activities to reward you along the way.
The summer reading program is free, fun and keeps kids reading all summer long!
