Jerome S. Cranke Prescott Valley American Legion Post No. 140 in partnership with Findlay Subaru Prescott celebrated their car raffle fundraiser in November with the grand prize giveaway to Kelly and Judy Ivicek.
The Iviceks expressed their excitement and gratitude upon winning the raffle, and at their own expense chose to upgrade their prize to a brand-new 2025 Subaru Ascent.
This fundraiser was organized to support local veterans, and the overwhelming community participation was heartwarming.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who purchased raffle tickets and contributed to this noble cause. There were 304 people who participated raising $42,332 that will be used to support programs that benefit our local veterans.
Findlay Subaru Prescott contributed an additional $10,000. The community’s generosity helps American Legion to continue to provide essential services and support to local veterans like job transition support, resources to reduce suicide and providing assistance to combat homelessness.
“This event exemplifies the incredible spirit of our community,” says Kara Hartman, Marketing Director at Findlay Subaru Prescott. “We are honored to collaborate with American Legion Post No. 140 to support our veterans and make a meaningful impact.”
We also want to acknowledge the invaluable support of the media and our vendors, whose efforts in promoting this event were instrumental in its success.
