Insights to the Outdoors 2020 kicks off and takes flight! Come learn about resident falcons, hawks, eagles, and ospreys. In this class you will learn to identify features and behaviors of these local birds of prey. George Carpenter, biologist and teacher at Yavapai College, will share stories and insights from his years as a field researcher and rehabilitator and reveal how these birds have adapted to live in the Prescott area. After an engaging lecture and discussion, your new skills will be tested with some fun, identification group games. Expect to never look up towards the sky the same way again! $27 for members, $30 for nonmembers.
