The remains of three prehistoric pit houses will be open to the public. Docents from the Museum of Indigenous People will be onsite to explain and answer questions as well as show a few artifacts. All-ages event and dogs are welcome. Open the first Saturday of every month. There is a $5 park entrance fee.
Living History interpreters will be at the Fort Whipple Museum on the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., April through November. The Fort Whipple museum is open Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free admission.
