The 6th annual Festival of Trees Prescott was the biggest year to date! We successfully kicked off the holiday season in Arizona’s Christmas City.
We are still receiving feedback from the community that the festival is quickly becoming their favorite holiday event of the year.
Attendees mingled in the forest of beautifully decorated trees and wreaths. People bought trees and wreaths to place in their home or business and voted on their favorites.
Activities included visits with Santa, drinking cocoa, enjoying the holiday bar and taking photos at a selfie station. Kids participated in making ornaments, face painting and balloon twisting. There were live performances throughout the week.
More than 2,800 people attended the event, and all the trees and wreaths sold.
Each year Festival of Trees Prescott chooses a local nonprofit organization to receive the net proceeds from the event. Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation received $21,000.
We cannot thank the participating businesses and individuals enough for their support.
