About Library Cards
With a library card, you’ll have free access to online resources you can trust to help with homework like these:
• Elementary in Context — Research information for primary school age. Elementary in Context also offers worksheets that teachers may print and use in the classroom.
• High School in Context — This covers the most studied high school topics, ranging from cultures and government to history and literature.
To help educators, parents and caregivers navigate a new school year, Prescott Public Library has a plethora of resources to support your student’s learning. Check out some of these resources for classroom support:
Accelerated Reader Program
Some Prescott area schools use Renaissance’s Accelerated Reader (AR) program to monitor students’ reading progress. For help determining a book’s accelerated reader level or whether a book has a corresponding quiz to earn accelerated reader points, check out the Accelerated Reader Bookfinder. This online tool allows you to search by title, author, topic, interest level and more.
Request classroom materials
If you need library materials for a classroom discussion or assignment, we can help. Complete our online form to request materials for use in your classroom. Library staff will gather the materials and place them on hold for you to pick up at Prescott Public Library.
Schedule a visit
Learn more about library services and resources when you schedule a visit for your class/group. Let us know if you want to come to the library or have the library come to you, and a Youth Services librarian will contact you within two business days.
