Memorial Day Observance

The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors hosted its 29th annual Memorial Day Observance ceremony May 26, 2025 at the Historic Citizens Cemetery on Sheldon Street in Prescott. The hourlong event was emceed by former State Sen. Ken Bennett and featured readings by dignitaries and public figures as well as presentations by veterans’ organizations. It concluded with the playing of “Taps,” a wreath being laid and a flag raising.
