The 26th Prescott Empty Bowls event at Prescott Courthouse Plaza was held Sept. 17, drawing record attendance. The event raises money for a variety of local food banks. Participants paid $20 to receive a locally handcrafted bowl and two servings of soup from 14 area restaurants, plus a chance to enjoy live music and win one of numerous donated raffle prizes. Organized by the Granite Peak Unitarian Universalist Congregation and Prescott Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, the group continues to accept donations at prescott-empty-bowls.square.site.
