From Sept. 22-Oct. 3, 2022, the 12th annual Prescott Film Festival drew movie buffs of all ages to the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center, showing student films, features and shorts produced around the country and globe. Audiences laughed, cried and pondered some of life’s biggest questions while they watched movies told from diverse viewpoints and watched presentations from their creators. Award winners included The Royal Game/A Chess Story, The Long Rider, American Dream, Living Music, iMordecai and Marcell the Shell with Shoes On. Other highlights included a showing of the classic Buster Keaton short Steamboat Bill with live orchestral accompaniment and a Grease sing-along.
