Prescott marked Independence Day 2024 by going back “back to our roots” at Watson Lake Park with free general admission and parking available, plus live music from the CheekTones and the Cassandra Long Band, food trucks, face painting and other fun activities, all leading up to a spectacular pyrotechnic show over the water and granite boulders of the lake. The fireworks and entertainment were sponsored by Bucky’s Casino, Hensley and Findlay Prescott Subaru, Hyundai and Buick/GMC, and 25% of the proceeds were donated to Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arizona.
