Opened in 2018, Mark’s BeerGarden is a quirky, German-inspired bar and grill that has grown from local secret to lively community favorite. It’s a welcoming little pub with a not-so-little patio — and a downright big personality.
Step through the wooden gates and you’ll instantly feel the charm that makes this place uniquely Prescott. Wooden picnic tables sit beneath twinkling string lights, fire pits glow on cool evenings, and a rustic pine stage comes alive with local musicians during the warmer months.
Inside, guests are greeted at a beautiful hardwood bar and invited to explore a well-curated drink menu featuring a balance of imported German beers, locally crafted brews, national favorites, and even the occasional cider. Mark’s taps are always offering something new.
What truly elevates Mark’s BeerGarden is the food. Owner and head cook Mark Davidson takes pride in serving elevated, fresh, handmade bar-food classics.
The menu has something for everyone from German beer brats with sauerkraut to smoked Buffalo wings and made-to-order wood-fired pizza. Local regulars swear that best burger deal in town is the weekday $15 burger, beer & fries special. No visit is complete without the Bavarian pretzel with warm beer cheese.
Yet, for all its excellent food and drink, the heart of Mark’s BeerGarden is its atmosphere.
It’s a true pub — welcoming, familiar and community-centric. Families spread out on the patio playing lawn games on weekend afternoons. Wednesday-night trivia fills the tables. Cheers rise from inside when a favorite team scores during Monday night games.
Seasonal events like Oktoberfest, tap takeovers and charity chili cook-offs give the calendar a festive rhythm. Mark’s BeerGarden isn’t just a bar, it’s Prescott’s community living room.
Catering parties on-site and off-site. Gift cards are available.
