Rachael Plays Guitar celebrated the release of her album “Bitter Songs that Sound Sweet” Aug. 26 at the Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center in downtown Prescott in a night focused on celebrating original music.
After Kaleena and the Kismet provided a buoyant opening set, Rachael Beck performed new songs fitting the theme of her new album and other guitar-driven pop from her catalogue. She and her band drew a diverse audience that proved her music’s wide appeal.
Nick Canuel led his band Heavy Soul and played in the other two bands that performed.
