Snowy March weather could not keep away the warmth and energy of the 3rd annual Women’s Day Luncheon sponsored by the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce. The event brought together an inspiring group to celebrate and honor the extraordinary women who make our community so special.
The event was hosted by the new president of the Chamber Steve Bracety, who showcased a natural ability to keep the crowd engaged and excited for the festivities. This year, attendees were inspired by the empowering speeches of two incredible women, Sasha Naasz and Julie Jones.
Naasz shared a deeply personal story about the role dance and movement played in her life from a young age. Her passion for the art form ultimately led her to a remarkable career as a cruise ship performer before becoming one of the top dance instructors in the city. Her story resonated with everyone, encouraging us to embrace movement, take bold chances and push past our insecurities to become the best versions of ourselves.
Jones spoke passionately about the power of stepping outside of our comfort zones and the importance of taking risks in order to grow. She shared her own transformative journey — from being a former SWAT agent to becoming a lifestyle coach after overcoming significant personal losses. Her story was a testament to resilience and the pursuit of living life to its fullest potential, inspiring all who were in attendance to embrace change and live boldly.
Guests at the March 7 event enjoyed a delightful lunch catered by Premier Catering, participated in an exciting raffle featuring generously donated items from local businesses across the Greater Prescott area, which was expertly organized by Auctions with Flair, adding an extra touch of excitement to the day.
