Mountain bikers returned to this year’s Whiskey Off-Road race April 28-May 1 after a two-year hiatus to fly over some of the area’s most exhilarating (and challenging) pieces of singletrack – including the new Spence Basin trail network, double track, gravel roads, and the occasional paved segment.
Contestants and spectators got to enjoy three fun-filled days of event festivities and being submerged in the mountain bike industry. Bike-minded people mingled while appreciating the area’s wild west heritage and being welcomed by its modern-day appreciation for the outdoor enthusiast.
All finishers rode away with a commemorative pint glass emblazoned with the 15, 30 or 50 miles they completed and the town cheered the return of this annual event.
