On Sept. 5-8 the 111th annual Yavapai County Fair covered the historic fairgrounds in Prescott with exhibits, rides, game, vendor and food booths, livestock and hobby shows, concerts and everything else that makes up this most American of gatherings. Wildman Phil, Pirates Parrot Shows, Leapin’ Louies and magicians galore kept the crowds entertained between exhibits, and demonstrations and local favorites like Tyller Gummersall, Well Dressed Wolves, Cassandra Long and J. David Sloan. The Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo helped bring the festivities to a close with a wild horse race and ranch rodeo performance.
